Deborah: Campton, KY - Kentucky, United States; Study,practice yoga 25+ years, and Ashtanga since 2003 with Laura Spaulding, Authorized by The Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI). A direct student of Shri K.Pattabhi Jois in 2004-2005. Continue to study with teachers' in this lineage, including David Swenson and R. Sharath Jois. Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) I have worked in healthcare as a business founder, owner, executive, strategist and medical staff development expert for over 30 years. Along the way, yoga changed the way I thought, ate, talked and interacted with the world. I believe that yoga is a powerful way for all of us to “see God” in the many forms manifested in everyday living. I in rural and beloved eastern KY and have founded the Red River Gorge Yoga Sanctuary, with the mission of bringing mysore style Ashtanga to the natives of the area, the youth and the incarcerated who live here. I also organize yoga workshops and training for retreatants and students new to yoga who seek healing and relief from everyday stress and anxiety.
